Summary

How to upgrade from a previous version of Foxtrot Suite to Foxtrot Suite version 3.0

Resolution

Server:

1.       Run the Foxtrot 3.0 executable.

2.       Verify the Foxtrot Suite Folder is a shared folder. This can be done using the following steps: Right Click on Start>Click Explore>expand Program Files>Right Click on Foxtrot Suite>Select Share Folder. Click Permissions and you will need to add full control permissions to all users.

3.       Open the Admin Center via the Start Menu option. The username is admin the password is FOXTROT. (all caps)

4.       Click on the Global Defaults & Licensing tab.

5.       Click Manage Licenses.

6.       Enter the Product Key.

7.       Click Activate Licenses.

8.       Click Ok.

9.       In the section labeled Activate Licenses select the amount of licenses you wish to activate and click Activate.

10.   You should get a pop up message stating success. Click OK.

11.   You can now close the Admin Center and open Foxtrot.

      Client:

1.       Run the Foxtrot Suite v3.0 executable

2.       Open the Admin Center via the Start Menu option. The username is admin the password is FOXTROT. (all caps)

3.       Click on the Workstation Setup tab.

4.       Type or browse the path to the licensing server.

5.       Click Apply Changes

6.       You should now be able to open FoxtrotOne or Foxtrot LE
