Unable to save prefrences and settings

12/18/07

Applies to:  Foxtrot LE

Summary

Emulator and preference settings are not saving in Foxtrot LE and/or the admin center.

Resolution

This may be caused by a corrupted FTConfiguration.mdb or FTConfiguration.cfg. Try to open the .mdb file and you may get an error stating that it is corrupted. If so delete and open Foxtrot to recreate the file.

1.       First check the permissions on the local Foxtrot Suite folder. If you are able to modify and delete files you should be fine.

2.       Next check the server’s Foxtrot Suite folder for your permissions.

Note:
If you see an .ldb file with no counter file with the same name, this is an indicator that there is a permissions issue and your permissions should be elevated. You may have to get this done by an admin on the server.
