Failed to activate control

Summary

When running Foxtrot the user encounters the Error “Failed to activate control 'VB.UserControl'. This control may be incompatible with your application.  Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application.” This error usually occurs when Foxtrot was upgrade to a version that is not able to be installed over top of the previous version.

Resolution                                                                                                                                       

To make sure that you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application perform the following:

1. Uninstall the version of Foxtrot on the machine

2. Reboot the PC.

3. Install the latest version of Foxtrot.

4. Activate the licenses and open Foxtrot.
