1. Ensure that user’s PC is correctly pointed to the Controller PC via the administration center in the workstation setup tab.
2. If the user’s PC is correctly pointed to the Controller PC but still getting error message. Make sure that the “Share Folder” exists and is accessible. This can be tested by performing the following step:
a. Verify the user is logged into their PC with their "Windows Username." Then navigate to the "share folder" via Windows explorer or typing in the UNC path to the Share folder via the Start > Run menu.
3. Once the Share Folder is accessible, perform the following steps:
a. View the Share Folder contents- if all Foxtrot files are visible then the “read” permission is verified.
b. Create a New Text File in the Share Folder- this verifies the Write Permission.
c. Delete the New text file in the share folder- this verifies the delete permissions
4. If the Share Folder cannot be accessed, the controller pc is either down or the Share Folder may not exist or the user does not have the proper permissions for the Share Folder.
