Error 3170 - Can't Find Installable ISAM

Summary

When attempting to open a database, the following error is encountered:

Error 3170 - Can't find installable ISAM.

Resolution

1.       Backup Foxtrot scripts and databases to a folder outside of the Foxtrot directory.

2.       Uninstall Foxtrot via the Add/Remove Programs console of the Windows Control Panel.

3.       Reboot the computer.

4.       Reinstall Foxtrot.

Reminder

  If you are using an Access 2000 database, be sure to open the Foxtrot Admin Center and navigate to the Workstation Setup tab.  Here, be sure to check the Use this DSN for Access 2000 option and select MS Access Database.
