Delay During Startup

Summary

Foxtrot Clients experience delay during startup, when trying to connect to the emulator, when changing preferences or when signing in to Foxtrot. All deployments where Clients are accessing the licensing and configuration files across a WAN or slow corporate LAN.

 

Resolution

The following are possible solutions to this situation:

 

1.   Split up the licensing and configuration to departmental or regional Controller PCs.

 

2.       Keep all the licenses centralized at one Controller PC and distribute the configuration files to departmental or regional shared folders.
