There are two ways to resolve this issue:
Resolution Method 1:
Move the FoxtrotOne help file (FoxtrotOneHelp.chm) file to your local drive where it can be opened with no problem.
Resolution Method 2:
Grant your computer permission to view the FoxtrotOne help file. This can be achieved by following these steps which will modify your Windows registry:
1. Open Notepad and enter the following information, changing the red text to the path of your help file. Be sure to use double slashes as illustrated in this example:
|
REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp\1.x\ItssRestrictions] "UrlAllowList"="K:\\myFolder\\mySubFolder\\FoxtrotOneHelp.chm;file://;" |
2. Save the file to your desktop using the following file name: FTOHelpFix.reg
3. Close Notepad.
4. Double-click the FTOHelpFix.reg file you just created on your desktop.
Note: If you receive an error message at this point, it may indicate that you do not have permission to modify your registry. If this is the case, please ask your computer administrator for assistance.
5. Click Yes when asked if you are sure you would like to add the information to the registry.
6. A confirmation message will appear indicating that the information was successfully added to the registry. Click OK.
