Foxtrot Suite v5.0.1 with Foxtrot X
Gets an Enthusiastic Reception
If
you attended our webinar, you got a taste of the new
capabilities included with the new release which became
available last week. Of particular interest is Foxtrot®
X, a new member of the Foxtrot Suite that will
enable the user to deploy FoxtrotOne®
functionality across the enterprise to integrate various
web-based and desktop applications through the "front door."
Foxtrot Suite concurrent licenses can be used in "X" mode as
well as LE and FoxtrotOne modes. Enterprise deployment is
available by licensing Foxtrot X in bundles of 10, 50, 200,
500, or more named users.

Foxtrot Hero of the Month
Stacy
Kimpston in the Business Systems group at Standard
Bank in Hickory Hills, IL.
Standard
Bank faced a common business challenge; due to procedures in
place, personal and business accounts belonging to the same
individuals or families resided in separate Portfolios (or
Customer Information Files) and there was no method to view
the total relationship of an entity. The issue became "forced"
upon implementing a third party
profitability application. In order for it to deliver the
best analysis, there needed to be a single source of linkage
for personal and business accounts.
Rather
than resorting to expensive programming solutions (two months
and $7,200) or simply putting things off, Stacy came up with a
plan involving User Defined Fields (UDFs) available in their
core banking software and FoxtrotOne.
By establishing a UDF to store a Household Number and using
FoxtrotOne to populate that field in 118,000 accounts, the
problem was solved. Nice work, Stacy!
