Question: When will Foxtrot v6.1 be available for download from the website?
Answer: Foxtrot Suite v6.1 is now available for download by clicking here.
Question: Are there any plans to implement nested if-statements in Foxtrot LE?
Answer: Because we're adding green screen support to FoxtrotOne, that will be one benefit of switching to FoxtrotOne because you will get all of the if-statements - it will not be added to the Foxtrot LE product.
Question: What is the latest version of Foxtrot LE?
Answer: v2.7 - it includes minor bug fixes to the Import Wizard and added support for the new version of Rumba.
Question: How can I get an early version of Foxtrot AT?
Answer: Email Aaron Bultman at abultman@enablesoft.com and let him know you're interested in being a beta tester for the product.
Question: Are there any plans for a Foxtrot User Conference in the future?
Answer: We are thinking of having another one in Fall of 2011. If you're interested, please let us know. A future conference will depend on the amount of interest we receive from our customers.
Question: We export files from Excel in .dbf format to use as databases in scripts. The newer versions of Excel no longer support this file type; will imports be made to work any easier in Foxtrot?
Answer: Microsoft Excel has dropped support of .dbf files, although Foxtrot will still support dbf we are also working on making that easier for you to use. An easy way to get around that roadblock is to save your spreadsheets as .csv files. They can be imported into the Foxtrot Suite very easily. However, we will be adding support for Excel 2007/2010 and Access 1997/2010 next year. If you have interest in that please let us know as we base our new features on customer demand. The more customers we are aware of that need that feature, the higher it is ranked.
Question: Can Foxtrot v6.1 be used on a green screen accessed via the internet? A green screen (or mainframe system) via Internet Explorer or Firefox?
Answer: Foxtrot only works with Internet Explorer browsers and depending on how the browser is implemented in that webpage will dictate whether or not Foxtrot has access to work with it. We have some customers who are using Foxtrot LE to a green screen that is imbedded in the web browser. If you're interested in finding out how to do that, contact our support techs and we will help you set it up.
