Summit Community Bank recently had the need for Foxtrot® X's integration capabilities, and was able to successfully use it to provide real time data to its customers.
What is customer satisfaction to you? To me, it is how well a business meets or surpasses my expectations. Summit Community Bank was noticing that they were meeting, but weren't quite surpassing their customer's desires. To them, this was unacceptable.
The particular hurdle Scott Jennings, Executive Vice President, was facing was the delayed memo posting of his customer's remote deposit transactions to their online banking site. Customers wanted to be able to log on to their account via the web and check their account available balance after the deposits were made in real time just like if they had used a teller to perform the transaction. He jumped at the chance to improve his customer satisfaction, and decided to implement numerous seats of Foxtrot X throughout the branch.
Scott used the application integration capabilities of Foxtrot X to provide a new button to his end users that when clicked will import the information into FoxtrotOne®, access each account in Metavante® Bankway using the account number, and memo post the activity instantly. He had such great success with his new memo posting process that he saw the need to give this ability to his entire processing department. He deployed the new button to each employee's workstation, and they were able to perform the process that Scott had come to realize was invaluable to Summit Community Bank, all with a single click.
