Health Care Users Group Embraces Lifelong Learning

Harry S. Truman once said, “It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.”  If you’re like me, occasionally your attitude slips to the cynical side and we dismiss the possibility of a new approach as passé.  We think, “I’m pretty well informed and experienced and if something like ________ was available I would have already known about it.”  Unfortunately, we operate out of that worldview at our own peril because there are times when there really is something like _______ available.

Thanks to Foxtrot client, Doug Latham with Community Health Network of Connecticut who invited his fellow DST Healthcare system users to a presentation on Foxtrot applications for managing data, many folks who know a lot learned that there really is a something like Foxtrot available to automate mass updates for claims processing and adjudication.  Processes that would have previously caused people to resort to manually attacking the problem can be addressed with Foxtrot scripting technology resulting in more efficient, less costly and less error prone operations.

This is not new to us.  Foxtrot is by nature a “ground breaking” technology birthed out of 15 years of laser like focus on building industrial strength data maintenance and integration technology that can be learned and operated by operations staff.  Many times we have heard interested parties say, “I’ve been doing this a long time and if something like that existed, I would know about it.” 

Well, when we do get them to the “aha” moment during a presentation or a webinar, their final comments are something like, “I’m really glad I took the time to watch this.” or “Where has this been, we could have used this hundreds of times!”

From the reports I received there were several of those after the HUG presentation last month.

As the “XX” beer commercial says, “Stay Thirsty, my Friend” because something like FOXTROT is available.
