Applies to:
Foxtrot RPA, Foxtrot Classic, Foxtrot Legacy — all versions

Summary:
When importing data into Foxtrot RPA, Foxtrot Classic, or Foxtrot Legacy, the following error message is received:
Error70_PermissionDenied

Upon importing data into Foxtrot, a database file (accdb or dbf) is created, in which Foxtrot uses in real time. This particular error message is seen when the user does not have the required permission level to create this file. The default destination of the output file will be the same location as the original data source, however, the file path may also be modified within the Users Panel Preferences. Additionally, the user may change the location of the Output File in the Data Wizard.

Resolution:
The user needs read, write, and modify permissions to the path in which the output file will be created. A user can verify these permissions by attempting to create a new text document within the desired directory.
