Foxtrot Technology Saving Peoples Bank & Trust Money and Time

Peoples Bank & Trust in Selma AL., a Jack Henry Silverlake Core System User, has found many ways to incorporate Foxtrot^® into their operations throughout the organization. One of the major projects People Bank & Trust used Foxtrot for was to change the ratings code in 120,000 customer records to help become BSA Compliant. When the auditors suggested they move from a HI MD LO risk scale to a numeric, 7-factor risk rating just days before the start of their BSA Exam they knew they needed the speedy and accurate performance of Foxtrot. Phillip Wheat, Vice President at People Bank & Trust commented "we were able to accomplish this change in less than 6 hours using Foxtrot LE. I actually ran three copies on one workstation to help speed up the updates." He then went on to say "Our exam looks good and a big part is due to the flexibility of Foxtrot."

Another major process People Bank & Trust used Foxtrot for is in the payroll department. Mr. Wheat explained "Our payroll G/L interface consists of importing hundreds of entries into our core system. It would cost several thousands of dollars for an interface from the core vendor, and a maintenance fee would be applied every year in addition to the cost of the interface. This would be an extremely expensive project for us." He continued with "We knew we had a better solution. We used Foxtrot to build a batch from our payroll processor into our core G/L system and within a short amount of time we had our entries imported completely accurate. We once again saved a great amount of money and time using Foxtrot."
