Kennebunk Savings Bank Continues to Reap the Benefits of Foxtrot Technology

Kennebunk Savings Bank, an ITI Navigator user, is continually finding new ways to implement Foxtrot Technology throughout their organization.

The most played out application Kennebunk Savings Bank has implemented Foxtrot for has been to create a script that automatically runs six times a month to search through all their customer statements and find fees that were paid to other financial institutions through the use of ATMs, then automatically credit back those fees. To do such a project manually, it would be a full time position. Foxtrot eliminated the need for the extra personnel and made it possible to accomplish this process within a timely manner. This service has benefited our clients greatly, and in turn has allowed us to provide yet another top level piece of customer service in which we owe a great part of it to Foxtrot” stated Andrew Thomson, Enterprise Systems and Services Manager for Kennebunk Savings Bank.

Another process Kennebunk Savings Bank has Foxtrot executing is to build transaction blocks from an Excel spreadsheet and import into the ITI System. Foxtrot is then set up modify transaction blocks in the event that credits or corrections need to be entered onto a customer account and will have the account display a customized explanation of why the transaction appears on the account. Foxtrot fully automates the complete process of building the transaction blocks to updating or modifying the account through the posting of the explanation, this significantly reduces the amount of time it takes and the complete task is 100% accurate every time.

Kennebunk Savings Bank has many other uses such as locating and modifying officer responsibility codes that need to be updated to reflect staffing. Andrew added We’ve come up with many other ideas that have not been deployed yet and we continue to think of ways to expand our use of Foxtrot in the future.”
