Geisinger had a great team of Carl Cohick, Shawn Britton and Bob Seebold working to perfect this process.  A large part of a health plan’s day to day operations is entering premium rates into their core system, Amisys Advance.  Because of the inefficiency of the manual process and the large opportunity for error it is an ideal process to automate using FoxtrotOne.   

A knowledgeable worker used Foxtrot technology to perform all of the necessary actions with flawless precision, saving the company upwards of $50k a year and eliminating 66% of the time they previously spent on this process.  The first step is to enter the applicable account information for the policy holder, which is followed by the task of assigning specific riders (or benefits), to their portfolio.  The rider assignment is the delicate part of the process because there are numerous pages of choices, and after each choice is selected the process starts back at the beginning to enter the next.  An important final step is to compare the number of riders selected to the number entered on the first screen so accuracy is ensured.
 
Before, there was no other alternative to manual entry due to the sensitivity of the process, so they were elated to see that Foxtrot was reliable enough to trust with their most critical daily procedure.  While each premium rate entry used to take approximately five minutes, it now takes 90 seconds to complete with FoxtrotOne.
