Fifth Third Bank has implemented Foxtrot in 37 routine projects with various processing systems throughout the bank. The cost savings for these projects totals over $345,000 per year and continues to grow.

The most prominent use of Foxtrot in Fifth Third Bank's operation is extracting DDA account types from RAFT, an account processing system, in order to update waive fee codes. During this process, Foxtrot updated 194,580 records with the correct code. "It would have taken a group of people approximately 19,000 hours to do this process manually" Robert Craighead, Operations Specialist of Fifth Third Bank commented. "With Foxtrot, we are assured it will be done correctly and accurately. So far we saved $163,739.00 just on this one project using Foxtrot Technology."

There are many ways Fifth Third uses Foxtrot throughout the organization. Most of these tasks include automatic information updates and extracting data to deliver elsewhere. The loan department has reaped several benefits as well. Antony West, another avid Foxtrot user on the commercial operations team, uses Foxtrot to process payment plans on individual deals provided by a dealership. This is a once a month recurring process interacting with some 1,600+ records. With the time and cost savings of using Foxtrot vs. manual data entry they estimate a savings of $16,000.00 per year. Kathy McNear of the consumer loan operations team has been using Foxtrot heavily over the past month, updating and extracting data in the Fidelity ALS system. She updated almost 16,000 accounts in one month alone.
